We are beyond thrilled to announce that the Portishead Wheels and Skatepark is officially open!
After much dedication, hard work and meticulous preparation, the skatepark is ready to welcome all skaters, bikers, scooter riders, and rollerbladers/rollerskaters from across the community and beyond.

This skatepark has been a labor of love for everyone involved. It’s more than just a concrete space, it’s a hub for community interaction, learning, and fun. As we celebrate its opening, we want to extend our sincerest thanks to all who contributed to the project, especially Maverick Skateparks for their tireless work.
Whether you’re a skater, biker, scooter rider, or rollerblader/rollerskater, or even if you’re just intrigued by these sports, we encourage you to come and experience the new park.
Remember, safety is paramount, and we strongly advise all users to wear helmets and safety gear. The skatepark is free for everyone to use.
Stay tuned to our Facebook page for regular updates on events, including our next one taking place on Sunday, July 9th at the Wheels Park from 12pm to 4pm. Maverick will be hosting the event, featuring competitions, displays, and music. More details will be announced as we get closer to the day.
